Hello and welcome! My name is Ela Nickels

I'm a Seattle native and a recent graduate from Pomona College, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I’m known for my empathy, creativity, and drive—qualities that have naturally guided me into the world of UX/UI and design.

My journey through college was anything but linear. I explored a diverse range of subjects, from French and Genetics to Graphic Design, and learned how to bridge disciplines to solve problems in innovative ways.

Along the way, I pursued internships, coursework, and hands-on projects in the UX and design fields, building a solid foundation in user research, human-centered design, and visual storytelling.

Today, I'm excited to bring my cross-disciplinary skills and passion for creating meaningful user experiences into the world of design.
